Brazil’s energy matrix is mainly hydro based, pertained the bountifulness of hydro resources and favorable terrain.

Omega owns four operating SHPs (Small Hydro Plants) totaling 82.5 MW of installed capacity. Two are located in Minas Gerais (Pipoca and Serra das Agulhas) and two in Mato Grosso do Sul (Indaiá and Indaiazinho). Besides these, Omega’s portfolio has over 200 MW of SHPs projects in advanced licensing stages.
